Grilled Cuban Sandwich

Quick, easy and lean with a delightful flavor

INGREDIENTS
8 slices pork loin, 1 ounce each
8 slices ham, 1 ounce each
2 cold packed dill pickles sliced length wise and thin
8 slices Swiss cheese
4 hoagie style sandwich rolls
Dijon mustard
white pepper

DIRECTIONS
What ever type grill you will use, preheat and ready it at normal cooking temp.

Grill the slices of pork loin and ham on both sides for equal time, until the pork loin is cooked thoroughly, about 3 minutes each side. Place the cheese slices on top of the slices of meat and continue to grill until melted.

As loin and ham grill, cover each inside half of the hoagie rolls with a generous helping of Dijon Mustard, and just a dash of white pepper.

Remove the pork loin and ham from the grill and place alternately two slices of each ham and loin on each hoagie, top with two thin slices of pickle place top half of the roll on and serve hot. 4 servings
