In a large skillet, brown meat Lightly then add
onion and continue to cook until onion is just
translucent, drain off excess fat. Add garlic,
mushrooms, salt, wine, spaghetti sauce,
and tomato sauce to meat mixture, mix well and
set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine egg, parsley
flakes, ricotta cheese, and Parmesan cheese and
set aside. Spray crock pot with canola cooking
oil spray.
Layer in a 5 to 6 quart crock pot 4
noodles, break to fit across the pot in both
directions. Spread half the ricotta cheese
mixture over noodles. Top with 1/4 of meat
mixture and 1/4 of shredded cheese. Top with 4
noodles, remaining cheese mixture, 1/4 of meat
mixture and 1/4 shredded cheese.
Add remaining 4
noodles and remaining meat mixture. Cover and
cook on low setting for 4 to 7 hours. Just
before serving, sprinkle with remaining shredded
cheese. Cover and let stand for 8 to 10 minutes
or until cheese is melted.
